About Us
Plaxtol Nurseries can be found in the idyllic Kentish village of Plaxtol. We are a small family run business, specialising in hardy shrubs, herbaceous perennials, hardy ferns, roses, conifers and climbers. We also have seasonal bedding plants and truly amazing hanging baskets. The nursery boasts a huge range of plants with something suitable for all positions in every garden. Come along and chat to the expert horticulturists who will help you to find that special plant. The owner of Plaxtol Nurseries – Alan Harvey is also a professional lecturer in Horticulture and is happy to discuss your garden with you.

If you are planning a new garden or bed, do bring your measurements with you and we will be happy to help you plan your new garden.

We are open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm except for the two weeks post Christmas Eve. We can also be found at a range of local shows, if you see us do come and say hello.

Almost all the plants are propagated and grown on site in our own specialist propagation facilities and grown on in the production areas to the highest standards.

New Developments
We are pleased to announce that Plaxtol Nurseries will now be growing in addition to the stock listed in our catalogue, a superb range of bedding plants for all year round colour.

We have a selection of traditional bedding plants grown both in 6 packs and individual pots. Also available is a range of cutting raised plants to give your gardens & patios that extra special look. Many of which are available up to late summer to give a splash of colour for your late season garden parties.

A wide range of hanging baskets are available to suit all tastes with prices starting from £9.95. Hanging baskets can be ordered and we welcome hotels and public houses to come and discuss their requirements with us.

Also don't forget our special holiday service. Let us look after your hanging baskets while you are on holiday, all you have to do is bring the baskets and collect them, and for a small charge we will look after them for you.
